OPEN CALL 2026

About Public Arts Trust of India:

In India, where philanthropy, patronage and state support for the arts is limited, Sana Rezwan founded the Public Arts Trust of India (PATI) In 2022 to democratise arts and culture for all.

Based in the Indian state of Rajasthan (between Jaipur and Jodhpur), PATI’s initiatives foster a more holistic growth of arts and culture through artist residencies, commissioning, curating, education and  professional development programmes and community exchange, reinforcing creativity as an important part of everyday life regardless of a person’s association or generation.

All PATI’s programmes provide free access foregrounding the notion that art belongs to everyone, while maintaining a multi-layered approach to give the same gravitas to the work of emerging and outsider artists as it does to those of an international standing.

JAIPUR ART WEEK 5.0

Building on the legacy of previous iterations, Jaipur Art Week Edition 5.0 launches an Open Call, inviting artists and creatives to share innovative proposals for new work that will encourage meaningful and open dialogue and collaboration.

Encouraging artists to make the work they want to, and not to try to fit it into a pre-set curatorial boundary, there are no set submission criteria or geographical boundaries to participation, ensuring the artist's voice is always front and centre.

Maintaining a co-curated approach to the development of each Edition, we will work with a Jury of esteemed international arts professionals and Artist Mentors who will each support the development of selected artists' work.

The year’s jury of international arts professionals includes Anita Dube (Contemporary Visual Artist and Art Critic), Renu Modi (Founder, Gallery Espace), Wood and Harrison (Collaborative Artist Duo), and Aindrea Emelife (Curator, Nigeria Pavilion at Venice Biennale 2024 and Art Historian)

Developing on our commitment to support early career artists and creatives, selected artists will each be assigned an Artist Mentor to support the development and selection of the work that will be showcased during Jaipur Art Week. This year’s mentors include visual artists Vibha Galhotra and Gigi Scaria.

Selected artists will be given the opportunity to showcase their work in a group exhibition or as solo interventions across our partner venues throughout Jaipur. Your proposal can respond to one of the venues listed below, otherwise our team will support you through the curatorial process to find the right fit for your work.
